AC Milan is in the race to sign Mohamed Simakan, 20 year-old defender of Strasbourg in the French Ligue 1. But there is also the competition from RB Leipzig, reportedly.
According to the latest from Max Bielefeld of Sky Germany, : "Both Milan and RB Leipzig are still in the race for Simakan. Player is happy with both offers and didn't decide yet. Milan wants him now, Leipzig would let him play another 6 months in Strasbourg. In July he would be the ideal replacement for Upamecano".
The Milan management seems willing to sign a defender like Mohamed Simakan as he has quality, is young, and can play two roles which are centre-back and right-back.
