Stefano Pioli gave a brief interview to Rai Sport:
"The team knows how to fight, it knows how to play and grit its teeth. It was a complicated match, our opponents managed to dribble better than Saturday's match. But especially in the second half we could have avoided extra time with the many opportunities we had. We were a team for the whole match, it's a desired and deserved victory."
On starting Ibrahimovic: “I spoke to him, we wanted to give him a longer time than the ten minutes played on Saturday. Due to his characteristics I think it is better to start from the beginning. He had a good race, these forty-five minutes will help him improve his condition and be at his best for the championship challenge."
On his serenity: “You can see that I'm fine here at Milan. I train a group of players who make me proud for the willingness they put into it every day. When you are happy and well it is easier for you to convey serenity and conviction. I know I coach a strong team, I have to point the right way and I try to do it in the best possible way."
“Penalties are difficult to train on. Aside the fact of scoring penalties is the quality of my players and the mental aspect of trying to win games. Many times I have been asked what the turning point was, the one with Rio Ave was important."
On Inter-Juve: “I hope to do well against Cagliari, then we will certainly watch it, just as it will watch the derby. Great teams face each other, I will watch them with great interest."
