Roberto Mancini, the coach of the Italian national team, granted an interview to Gazzetta dello Sport in which he discussed Davide Calabria and Sandro Tonali. He had this to say:
"Calabria did well last time here. He has talent, personality and determination. He is a good person."
"Tonali? He is very young. He arrived early in a big club and has I need time to adapt. A bit like what happened to Romagnoli. But in the last few outings Tonali has done much better. Romagnoli has also grown. They could also be useful in the Azzurri."
