Soualiho Meité gave his first interview to Milan TV after joining officially the club and these were his statements:
On Milan:
"AC Milan is a great team, a great history. I'm happy that a club like that called me. I talked to friends and relatives, I was very happy. Milan have always had great players and great ambitions."
"I started playing football at 7 and I got my passion for this sport from my dad. I started with Auxerre in France at 13, where I signed my first professional contract at 17. And there it all began."
"I'm a player who likes to be in possession of the ball, I like the good game. I also like to cross, with both feet."
"My goal is to maintain the level of the team and to be as high as possible both in the league and in Europe."
"I am happy to be here, in a team that has an illustrious history. It is a bit sad to play without fans, but the message I can give them is to continue to support us and give us strength."
