With AC Milan set to face rivals Inter Milan in Coppa Italia this Tuesday night, the Milano Derby has been put under the spotlight once again. However, since the league is seeming to be the most important competition for both Serie A front-runners, many fans were wondering whether Antonio Conte and Stefano Pioli will align their usual eleven in the starting lineups.
According to Inter-news.it, the Nerazurri's head coach will most likely rely on the majority of his star players, as the derby is always a derby for him. Therefore, the former Chelsea coach would only bench Lautaro Martinez and one of Nicolo Barella or Arturo Vidal, aligning his official back three, alongside the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Achraf Hakimi and Marcelo Brozovic since the first minutes.
As for his counterpart, Pioli's decision still looks blurry at the moment, but the latter may opt for some sort of a turnover, with La Gazzetta dello Sport claiming that the first start for new arrival Mario Mandzukic will take place in the derby.
