Speaking in the special episode of Giovane Italia, Tommaso Pobega, AC Milan's midfielder (currently on loan Spezia) revealed many interesting things about himself.
On university:
"I am enrolled in a faculty of economics. I took a university exam before the game with Sampdoria (laughs, ed)."
On his growth path:
"The growth path and the expectations on the players are difficult. The leap is big from the Primavera to the first team. If you do well immediately under age you immediately think about bringing to the first team but maybe you are not totally ready. In the first professional experiences I understood how different the experience was, even just talking about the importance of recovering the ball."
On what he was taught at Milan:
"At Milan we have always been taught that the goal had to be achieved, it could be reached even with some stumbling blocks but it had to be achieved by following our own paths. I understood that it is right to take a certain path, that it is not necessary to skip some categories, and that if a certain path can lead me to the result then it must be followed."
On Locatelli and Calabria:
"Locatelli? there were a lot of expectations for him but he started very well and then we had to try a sort of path that skipped the categories. At the beginning he did very well and then, was normal, and there are always the speeches about the boys in the youth sector like the following: 'good yes, but .. ". At the beginnings of Calabria, he received a lot of praise, then criticism but in the end everyone has his own path."
