Kris Boyd has called Diego Laxalt’s attempt at defending for Ross County’s winner against Celtic “embarrassing”.
The loanee left-back from AC Milan replaced Greg Taylor after an early injury, and former Rangers man Boyd has held him responsible for Jordan White’s 71st-minute goal.
Despite a promising start after arriving from Milan earlier this season, Laxalt has been inconsistent.
The 28-year-old Uruguayan does not convince anymore. In fact, speaking on Sky Sports after Ross County’s 1-0 win, Kris Boyd said the following about him:
“It’s embarrassing defending. We speak about how crucial set-pieces are. He’s got the cheek to stand with his hands in the air and actually question people around him. It’s terrible defending."
