AC Milan's squad is missing quality and technical flair on the right flank compared to the left lane. The Rossoneri management are therefore keen to find the right profile to strengthen the right-wing position for Stefano Pioli's lineup.
Milan managers are busy during these days with the contract renewals like those of Gigio Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu.
However, that does not stop them from keeping an eye on French 28 year-old winger Florian Thauvin's situation at Olympique de Marseille in Ligue 1.
In fact, according to what Milannews.it reported there have been intensified contacts in the last few hours to secure Thauvin's signing.
The French World Cup winner's contract is set to expire at the end of the season and he would be available to join any team on a free transfer move.
The economic demands are high but Milan are counting on closing on 4 million euros per year over a 5-year deal while Thauvin's entourage would like more.
An obstacle to be treated carefully would also be the agents commissions, their demand would not be a low fee.
But, the talks are still ongoing in order to reinforce a position that is not very strong for the team, concluded the report.
