AC Milan are monitoring the contractual situation of Italy international Andrea Belotti with Torino, as Il Gallo is yet to find an agreement for a renewal with the Serie A side, knowing that his contract is expiring by the end of the next season.
According to Calciomercato.com, The Maroons led by club president Urbano Cairo, are willing to make financial sacrifices in order to convince their club's captain to stay.
In fact, Belotti asked for a salary of 3.5 million euros net per season, while Torino have set its salary ceiling at 2M. However, despite the fact that the 27-year-old's demands would excel club's limits, Il Toro are considering to satisfy their captain's economic requests, since they are aware of Milan's interest.
At the moment, the Rossoneri have not entered into any negotiations, as they are actually expecting to understand what will happen at Torino.
Meanwhile, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are ready to evaluate the purchase of Belotti, with the two managers intending to take advantage of the opportunity should the striker does not put pen to paper with his current club, as his price will be then set at 25-30 million one year from the contract expiry.
Finally, even though Torino are ready to meet Belotti's demands, the latter could still eventually opt for a new adventure in order to test himself in a more ambitious club.
