Gazzetta: Four solutions for Milan to recover the lost form

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, there are ways to redeem the Rossoneri after this negative period that the squad is experiencing.

There are 4 possible moves to find the team of the first part of the season.

Stefano Pioli will have to be good, and he is, at managing such situation. Ideas, psychology and brilliance are needed.

Bennacer-Calhanoglu:

The two important cogs in the system of the Rossoneri game are missing at the moment. One injured, and the other is out of form.

Tonali is a substitute who has yet to improve and does not guarantee the quality and the dictation of midfield like the Algerian. The Turk number 10  is unrecognisable, he is no longer the in-form attacking midfielder of the pre-Covid. Until the two of them return, it will be difficult to see a great Milan side again.

Tactics:

Pioli needs a plan B. Milan are no longer the surprise of Serie A because their rivals have studied the Rossoneri team and know what to expect when they face them. Therefore, there is a need for even different solutions.

A 3-man midfield, for example, with midfielder Tonali and, when recovered, Bennacer as regista. It could be the key to making the former Brescia officially blossom, with a Calhanoglu in the role of total attacking midfielder. Or a 3-man defense with Tomori, Kjaer and Romagnoli, 4 midfielders, 2 attacking midfielders played by Calhanoglu and Leao behind Ibrahimovic

The spirit of the team:

Milan is a family, and should be a cohesive group like they showed it in the beginning of the season. Players have to free themselves from this sort of negative mental state. It must be done with the same courage, the same courage and the same union of the past. The characteristics brought into the group by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, which is needed again as a guide. Because without him the Rossoneri will not move forward much.

Psychology:

Before, the game was the strength of the Rossoneri, who managed to succumb to the difference in squad depth with Inter and Juventus. Now that the system is not funcioning well, between physical and psychological declines and injuries. There is a need to rediscover mental freshness, a new dose of creativity must be injected by Stefano Pioli.
