Antonio Cassano, a former Milan attacker, granted an interview to Il Corriere dello Sport. Here are Cassano's words:

The situation is different if you ask me about the permission that has been granted to him. If he had been at Juve he would have stayed at Turin. But at Milan they know what they are doing there, Maldini is there, he does not lack experience. If Paolo had said no to Saremo and Ibra had wanted to go anyway, in your opinion how would it have ended? Zlatan would have gone anyway."
