Team captain Alessio Romagnoli will not be the starter as usual for the coming clash against AS Roma in Serie A. As anticipated by Sky Sport.
It is certainly an important and courageous change from coach Stefano Pioli. In his place, Fikayo Tomori who has shown important skills and solidity. He will be playing with Simon Kjaer.
Speaking on this matter, Gianluca Di Marzio spoke of Tonali and the exclusion of Romagnoli in favour of Tomori:
"Tonali did better than one might think, often playing alternately. The exclusion of Romagnoli is important, but Tomori is doing very well during training. Pioli may have seen him fresher."
