Milan Primavera team has a goal-scoring problem that needs urgent fix if they are to have a chance of fighting for Top honors and qualifying for the youth Champions League.
According to statistics Milan primavera is third from the last in terms of goal scored (14) in 12 League games only better than the last place Ascoli (9) and 14th place Torino (12), the highest goal-scoring team in the league Roma have 30 goals to their credit and are at the top of the league.
The Striking department has scored a combined 3 goals (Riccardo Tonin (2) and Marco Nasti (1) which is simply not good enough for a team of Milan’s caliber. The highest goal scorer for the team Giancomo Olzer with 6 goals is an attacking midfielder who can also play on the right flank. Coach Giunti and his coaching staff need to work on scoring more goals as the team average 1.16 goals scored per game.

Milan has the quality in midfield from Olzer, Tonin, Andrea Capone, Di Gesu, and El Hilali to provide quality service to the center-forwards and Giunti needs to work with them to deliver quality service to the striking department. To Giunti’s credit, the il Diavolo attacking midfield department has come out with a combined 8 goals but more needs to be asked of them in the creating aspect of their game.
On the other end of the field, Milan has done pretty well however they have conceded a high number of goals from various Inter (3), Bologna (3). IL Diavolo has the 3rd best defense in the league together with Roma with 13 goals conceded in 12 games.
