Following AC Milan's victory  against Hellas Verona in Serie A, the Rossoneri's head coach Stefano Pioli has spoken about the game in the press conference earlier today. Here are his statements:

On the boys' important reaction:

"I expected such a reaction, with this determination and conviction. I know the qualities of the players, we weren't satisfied with Udinese. Apart from the difficulties, the team has shown that they have ideas and qualities, that they have an important mental strength. for our growth".

On the display of character:

"It is important in our growth, the moment was delicate but the team, even from negative situations, is creating an important mentality, of strength and reaction. We play every three days since the beginning of September, it is normal to have ups and downs, but the spirit and the determination never failed".

On whether Milan can still chase first place:

"Milan must not chase anyone, without thinking about the results of others and focusing on our performances. Our goal is to improve [from] last year's championship and bring Milan back to the Champions League, we know it will be difficult because the opponents are very strong. We have grown a lot but it will be a demanding and difficult challenge until May 23. Now with satisfaction, we are throwing ourselves into the Europa League against a very strong team, a very difficult but very stimulating match".

On Ibrahimovic's form:

"He is better, tomorrow he will do an exam again to assess how his situation is going. We hope to recover some players, I hope Theo and Rebic, who have only had blunt trauma [to recover]. The commitments that await us are important. We have two challenging and stimulating weeks, then the stop could help us".
