Milan will be up against Manchester United at Old Trafford in the first leg of the Europa League round of 16 in a match that resembles that of the Champions League. According to Calciomercato, Manchester United's attacking midfielder Bruno Fernandes who was a target of the Rossoneri Milan is trying to create his own history with the Red devils having arrived from Sporting Lisbon.

At the end of the 2016/17 season, Bruno Fernandes left Sampdoria in favor of a return to his homeland with Sporting Lisbon where he made an incredible and definite leap in quality. In his first year in Portugal, he scored 14 goals, 29 goals in the second season, and 15 in the third before he left for Manchester United.
Bruno's fantastic performances took him to United in an 55 million euros deal. Milan had tried to sign him adding forward André Silva who was struggling for a form to smoothen the deal, as reported by the same source. Paolo Maldini spoke to Jorge Mendes agent of the current Eintracht center forward, in the summer of 2019 to try and lower their demands of 60 million euros at that time with the thought of inserting the André Silva card.
