Milan failed to secure a win in their second consecutive game after a 0-0 draw against Genoa on Sunday afternoon.

The match started very evenly with both sides dominating possession without creating too many chances. In the 27th minute, Genoa created the first chance of the game after playing out from the back, Dumbravanu's shot from outside the eighteen-yard box was saved by Jungdal in the Milan goal.

In the 33rd minute, Milan created the second real chance of the game when Roback headed a Frigero cross towards the Genoa goal but it was comfortably saved by Agostino. 4 minutes later the Rossoneri almost open scoring when midfielder Saco headed over the bar from a Milan corner. With 7 minutes left in the first half, Genoa almost opened the scoring after good work from Kallon but the ball was cleared.

The second 45 mins stated equally as slow as the first with the first chance created in the 67th minute when Genoa striker Kallon shot well wide after the Rossoneri cleared from a corner, in the 74th minute EL Hilali almost scored after a good transition by Milan from defense to attack but Genoa goalkeeper Agostino made a great save to deny the forward.

In the 86th minute, Genoa midfielder Besaggio's free-kick flashed through the face of goal with Dumbravanu missing the ball by just a fraction.

Giunti's team recorded their second consecutive draw where they did score any goal, the Rossoneri will have to start scoring goals if they want to keep the hope of getting to the playoffs. The draw now leaves Milan with 20 points after 14games, 3 points off the playoff spot.

GENOA (3-5-2): Agostino; Serpe, Zaccone, Dumbravanu; Dellepiane, Cenci (75' Eyango), Besaggio, Turchet, Piccardo (89' Gjini); Della Pietra (89' Conti), Kallon.
AC MILAN (3-4-3): Jungdal; Stanga, Michelis, Obaretin (66' Coubis); Frigerio, Saco (66' Brambilla), Mionić, Di Gesù; El Hilali, Tonin (71' Nasti), Roback (71' Robotti).
