Barcelona's promising talent Pedri, who has just got his first call-up to the Spanish national team yesterday morning; a well-deserved selection as the 18-year-old has shone in this season with the Blaugrana scoring 3 goals and providing 5.

In fact, the young Spaniard could have joined AC Milan before ending up in La Liga side's ranks, as revealed by Rocco Maiorino, the sporting director of the player's former club Las Palmas: "There was Atletico Madrid, Real away. I talked about him with Milan with whom I had maintained an excellent relationship." he told gianlucadimarzio.com.

"They came to see him, I remember in Malaga, but they weren't quick enough to close the deal and I needed monetization to make ends meet for my company." he added.
