Former AC Milan head coach Massimiliano Allegri has spoken in Sky Calcio Club earlier today about the Italian football. Here are his words:
"At the moment Italian football needs to roll up its sleeves. I have heard many comments and I think the situation should make us think a little. I was a counterbalance to the players, you need balance. I think we shouldn't throw everything away from old-fashioned coaches. Balance is needed. We should focus on the player and work on it. The tactic is needed but then we complain when in Europe they pass it at 100 per hour and we don't. We have to ask ourselves questions, work in the youth sectors with individual technique."
