Stuttgart's promising winger Silas Wamangituka, who was reportedly monitored by AC Milan, has actually picked-up a serious injury yesterday in the game which opposed the German side to Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich, as the Congolese youngster was taken off at the 31st minute after going down in a tackle.
Today, Stuttgart have published an official statement on their website, confirming that the 21-year-old had underwent a medical examination on Sunday morning, which revealed that he had torn the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, which will rule him out for several months, meaning that he will have to miss the remainder of the current campaign.
As a result, this injury could end up cooling the interest of Milan led by technical director Paolo Maldini, as it was the case with the French center-back Mohamed Simakan back in January.
