In an exclusive interview granted to F12, former AC Milan striker Gonzalo Higuain revealed that he could've joined the Rossoneri way before his loan spell with the Serie A side between summer 2018 and winter 2019. Here are his words:
“I had to choose whether to go to Real Madrid or to AC Milan which was a team of 'super galacticos'. Then I went to Madrid and I should have ended up at Castilla or even on loan to some other team, but after a couple of training sessions Capello said: 'You stay with us'."
