AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is yet to renew his contract with the Rossoneri, with his agreement expiring by the end of the season.
In fact, the Rossoneri's technical director Paolo Maldini along with sporting director Frederic Massara are reportedly having frequent telephone contacts with his agent Mino Raiola. Yet, the parties are too far away.
According to what was reported by Calciomercato.com, the highest possible offer for Milan is what they have already proposed to Gigio: 7.5 million euros net, which could reach 8 with bonuses in a 5-year contract deal. An offer that the well-known agent has not accepted yet, as he is asking for 10 million plus bonuses per season, on a 1-year (2 at most) contract deal.
For his part, Donnarumma has not exposed himself as was in the expectations of the Milanese club, as reported by the same source.
Now, the negotiations remain in place, but Maldini and Massara have already tested waters for Lille's goalkeeper Mike Maignan, to be prepared in case their academy product ends up rejecting renewal proposals.
