AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has granted an exclusive interview to Milan TV, following the Rossoneri's win against Parma. Here are his statements:
On the game:
"It was necessary to show that we understood our mistakes. We were faster and more precise in our movements, we were deservedly ahead by controlling the game well. After being outnumbered there were difficulties, but my players for spirit and will are really strong."
On the expulsion of Ibra:
"I was concentrated on the game, I can say what Zlatan said to me: 'I argued with the referee, I didn't offend him. If I had offended him I would have apologized."
On the changes:
"In the second half they went to 4-4-2 with two very physical strikers and Kucka who was the third striker, I preferred to defend myself well centrally by deploying a 5-man defense. With a physical team you could have suffered something but we interpreted well".
On Dalot:
"I am very happy with Dalot because he has known for two days that I would have chosen Kalulu, but he is a winner because he trained at 105% instead of being the victim. It is beautiful behavior and a beautiful example for everyone, I didn't have doubts that he would go well in the way he prepared."
