Former AC Milan defender Alessandro Costacurta has spoken through the microphones of Sky Sport about the future of the Rossoneri's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. Here are his words:
"I guess he is not number 1, but he could soon become one. Milan could continue to be in the Champions League with such a goalkeeper and things could grow together. Milan do not have the strength, in the next 2-3 years, to become the strongest team in Europe. What are Donnarumma's ambitions? It should be in his head, but I have the impression that we want to ensure a Milan always in Champions [League]. Is it a path that will lead to winning the Champions League? Only the managers know it, and we will see what their intention is from the contracts that emerge."
