Real Betis head coach Manuel Pellegrini has spoken in the press conference about the future of club's right-back Emerson Royal, who is reportedly followed by AC Milan. Here are his words:
"Emerson is important, as is Nabil [Fekir]. I have just given the answer about the importance of these types of players. Emerson is important to us but he has a contract with Barcelona and him. It is legally necessary to stay with him. We have enough problems at the moment to finish the season and we are focused only on that. That's why when they tell me about Aissa [Mandi] or Emerson ... The important thing is that they are committed and it shows in the performance. We'll see what happens but legally it is up to Barcelona to get the player back. The talks are grounds for future business."
