The Super League project has been formed initially with 12 founding clubs, including AC Milan. But, the plans failed soon after most of the clubs withdrew themselves from the competition.
As of now, only three clubs remain which are Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, and Juventus. According to what has been reported today by Il Corriere della Sera, "The Serie A is waiting for Juventus to abandon the Super League".
Yesterday, there was a Lega Assembly during which the Super League issue was also discussed. The conflicts that had arisen in recent weeks seem to have been resolved. These are the words of the FIGC president, Gravina: "Distant positions with Agnelli, but a dialogue is sought".
