With a note entrusted to ANSA , the Serie A clubs have made it known that they will ask the FIGC to postpone the payment of salaries for the last 4 months. Here is the message:
"The Serie A clubs will ask the FIGC to postpone the deadlines regarding the obligations relating to deadlines for the payment of salaries to players. The hypothesis on the table, which emerged in today's assembly of the clubs, is to request the shift of the deadlines for the last four months of the 2020/21 season, i.e. March (with the deadline that would pass from May to June), April (from June to July), May (June to December) and June (September to December)."
A request that will be made during the next Federal Council, which will be staged on May 17th.
In addition, on the subject of salaries, negotiations will start with the AIC to ask the players' union for a two-month cut for the players.
