AC Milan managers absolutely do not want to risk another contractual issue that would be a stressful period for them, the players and the fans.
The Rossoneri do not want to repeat what is now happening currently with Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu. That is why the club is already working on some renewals.
According to what is reported in today's edition of the daily Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, the club is already planning the renewal of three important players whose contracts are set to expire in 2022. They are: Franck Kessié, Davide Calabria, and Alessio Romagnoli. Contacts with their respective agents have already took place.
As for Kessié's situation, the agent's request is quite high: 5 million euros net per season, while Milan presented a lower offer, but still an improvement on the 2.2 million he earns currently. Both parties want to move forward together and another meeting is set to take place soon.
Milan's captain, Alessio Romagnoli who is represented by super agent Mino Raiola, despite having lost his starting position after the arrival of Tomori in January, wants to stay. Then there is another aspect that goes in favor of the defender's permanence: as Tuttosport always explains, in fact, Alessio is a player trained in Italian clubs and this status, in the case of Champions, would be very important for the composition of the list of 25. So, unless an indispensable offer arrives for its captain, Milan will want to keep him.
For the right-back, Davide Calabria's situation is the following: there is still some distance between the club's offer and request. The player has requested a salary worth 2 million euros, as he is now earning 1.1 million euros per season.
