Italy’s Women National team head coach Milena Bertolini announced her 35-woman Italy squad for international friendlies in June and there are two AC Milan Women players on it.
Striker and team captain Valentina Giacinti, alongside wing-back Bergamaschi were called-up. Notable absentees include defender Laura Fusetti and left full-back Linda Tucceri Cimini. Worth mentioning that former Juventus goalkeeper Laura Giuliani, who seems to be on her way to AC Milan, also has received the call.
The azzurre will face Netherlands on June 10 at 17:30 CEST at the Paolo Mazza stadium, and Austria on June 14, at 16:30 CET, at the Wiener Neustadt Arena.
