AC Milan's new arrival Mike Maignan, whose transfer to the Rossoneri has been made official earlier this day, has spoken in the press conference today. Here are his statements (reported by Eurosport journalist Guillaume Maillard-Pacini):
What do you know about Milan?
"When I was younger, I followed this team a lot. It is a great club where many legends have passed."
On Serie A:
"Very tactical championship, it will still make me grow."
Have you talked to Leao and Rabiot?
"Yes, yes."
What did Maldini tell you?
"I can't tell you everything. But I know it's a very ambitious project. I know I can give something more (...) Milan is one of the biggest clubs in the world."
In what aspect did you grow up in the last two years?
"In the head. I gained experience and maturity. The head in football does a lot."
Have you learned Italian?
"Not yet, I know a few words. Rabiot speaks to me a little Italian and I listen. Now I'm focused on France, then I'll learn the language."
