Pioli is appreciated by the club. He was awarded a 500 thousand euros, in addition to his 2 million euros yearly salary, as a bonus for achieving UEFA Champions League qualification by finishing second in Serie A standings. As per the source, the parties are moving towards a two-year or three-year renewal.
