AC Milan are not working hard to improve on just the sporting level side of the game, but also on the media aspect that is also important for the club to grow and attract more sponsorships and fans all over the world. It is part of how modern football now works.
Through the official website of the club, AC Milan have announced the appointment of Luca Baldanza as Head of Media Sales in the Commercial Department of the Club reporting to the Sponsorship Sales Director Maikel Oettle.
Baldanza, who starts today June 3rd, boasts a solid international experience in the management, sale and acquisition of sports media rights for the main players, having worked for global companies, including IMG and the United Arab Emirates Football League, and in global events such as the 2010 FIFA Club World Cup.
Baldanza will be responsible for the effective development of new and existing media revenue streams to support the Club's commercial growth.
Casper Stylsvig, Chief Revenue Officer, stated: "We are pleased to welcome Luca on board. The Club created this brand new role to fully seize all the opportunities that the future scenarios of our sector are going to open up in terms of content, platforms and right management.
