Joao Cancelo has been tested positive to the coronavirus. The Portuguese football association has announced the news and therefore, the player will not be part of the squad playing in the Euros.
He is already in solitary confinement in Hungary.
He will be replaced by another player: Diogo Dalot, Manchester United's player who spent the season on loan at the San Siro with AC Milan.

“The Hungarian health authorities were immediately informed and the player - who is fine, was placed in solitary confinement. The result of the test carried out by the USP was confirmed by an RT-PCR test carried out on João Cancelo also on Saturday and the result of which was announced on Sunday morning. In accordance with the covid-19 protocol defined by UEFA prior to the EURO 2020 matches, all players and members of the entourage underwent RT-PCR tests on Saturday. The results, with the exception of João Cancelo, were negative. The Hungarian health authorities have become aware of compliance with the protection procedures, fully respected according to the UEFA protocol."
