As reported today by Sportmediaset, Milan have identify the profile of Hakim Ziyech as an alternative to Rodrigo de Paul for a reinforcement to the attacking midfield role. With the recent news of Atletico Madrid's progress in signing the Udinese man de Paul, Milan may be forced to expand their search for a new number 10.
Hakan Calhanoglu currently has an offer on the table from Maldini and Massara right now, but has yet to give the club an answer. In the event of the Turk's departure, Milan will be in need of a suitable player to help orchestrate the attack.
Ziyech has been identified in recent weeks for the role, as Chelsea may be willing to part ways with the Moroccan they signed just last year. Considering the player was signed from Chelsea at around 40 million euros, Milan could have trouble paying an expensive price tag without selling other players first. No price tag has been announced yet by the Blues.
Those at Casa Milan could pursue the option of taking the player on loan too, if but no discussions have been had with the London club as of now. Ziyech played his first season in the Premier League this past season, with just 23 appearances and 5 goal contributions.
