Since his arrival to AC Milan from Atalanta, Franck Kessié has matured and showed great skills especially under the instructions of Stefano Pioli who deploys him in a double pivot system of the 4-2-3-1 formation.
'Il Presidente' has won over the fans with his style as he shows physical dominance and composure.
The defensive midfielder's contract is set to expire in June 2022 and it should come as no surprise that Milan must soon start negotiating for his renewal.
According to what Tuttosport reported, Milan must resume contacts with Kessié's agent George Atangana as the last talks that were held discussing the renewal topic was back in March.
Kessié earns right now 2.2 million euros net per season and his entourage would ask for 4.5 million euros salary in order to extend. However, Milan are willing to make an increase of only 1 million euros.
