Speaking to the "OCW Sport" Twitch channel, former AC Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino had his say about the contractual situation of the Rossoneri's playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu. Here is what he said:
“I will not enter into the merits of renewal or non-renewal since everyone does what they want in their lives. What would I have done? I say that if Milan took me from a foreign league, and I played like this for two years and then I played a good season I would not ask for the moon. This is the thought of Antonio Nocerino. I would have signed immediately. It takes gratitude in football because when things go well we are all tall, blond with blue eyes, but when things don't go well it's different. When I was playing in Italy there were people in the locker room, they instilled in me that small talk is of little use".
