AC Milan want to reinforce the attack by signing an important name to alternate with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Olivier Giroud is the name that is on Milan's agenda to be the ideal replacement for the 39 year-old Swede champion who cannot be always available in the next season.
The Rossoneri management want to bring Giroud on a free transfer to Italy. However, at the moment, there are currently no major openings from Chelsea for this formula and therefore Milan are evaluating other profiles.
If the agents are able to free their client from the contract, then Milan will be taking steps forward and sign the Frenchman because an agreement has been reached in principle between the striker's entourage and the Milanese board.
