AC Milan's captain, Alessio Romagnoli, who spent most of the second half of the season on the bench, after the impressive performances of Fikayo Tomori (officially redeemed just recently) has his future unclear.
Romagnoli has a contract that runs out in the summer of 2022 and a soon farewell for him is not excluded. Milan do not want to be unprepared and have eyed up a potential transfer for his replacement.

Badé, 21, playing for Ligue 1 outfit Lens, is a talented centre-back who was previously linked with a move to AC Milan before as well as other important European teams.
However, the deal will not be easy for Paolo Maldini because the cost represents a significant obstacle: the French side would be asking for a fee of 25 million euros.
Milan may not be willing to pay such a high figure for a the youngster at the moment, but an eye must be kept on the situation.
