Diogo Dalot spent his last season in Serie A with AC Milan on loan. The player was very useful to coach Stefano Pioli as he used him on both wide defensive areas of the pitch to rotate and replace Theo Hernandez and Davide Calabria whenever needed.
Reportedly, Maldini wants to keep the player at Milan for another season. Confirmations now arrive from England as online outlet Manchester Evening News claim that the Rossoneri have asked for Diogo Dalot on loan with the buy-option.
However, it seems that the English giants are not open to letting go of their gifted defender on loan.
The Red Devils management, for now, have informed Dalot that he must be present with the team when called upon in preparation for the new season under coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
