Last Saturday, documents were sent to the Municipality of Milan, signed by both managements of AC Milan and Internazionale, regarding the new stadium issue.
New clarifications were requested months ago by the municipality from both Milanese boards to shed light on the shareholdings of both clubs.
Now the collaborators of the mayor of the city, Beppe Sala, will have to examine the papers and then, if everything is in order, give a further green light to the declaration of public interest of the new San Siro project.
As reported by Il Corriere della Sera, the 'go-ahead' will probably take a lot of time to arrive from the municipality. That is because a full review by the city council will be taking place on the matter.
