Amid strong interest from AC Milan on his services, France international Olivier Giroud has sent a clear message in an interview granted to Le Figaro, confirming that he still has what it takes to play in the highest level despite his old age. Here is what he said:
"I'm far from finished. I'm 35, but the ambition of a 20-year-old boy. The [French national] team has a great attacking strength and I have a card to play because there are no players similar to my profile. I'm here to respond and contribute as much as I can."
