Former AC Milan striker Patrick Cutrone has spoken in an exclusive interview with Sportweek about his ex-Rossoneri teammate Manuel Locatelli. Here is what he said:
"I never had any doubts about him. I always knew he would reach these levels. And in the same way I know he will not be satisfied, now he is ready to fly. We are like brothers. We were 11 years old when we met at Milan, at 17 we lived together in a boarding school. In those days I saw him more than my family. We grew up together and together we made it to the first team. He is one of the most important people in my life. He came from Atalanta, Milan's historical rival at youth level . At the beginning we comrades looked at him almost as an enemy. You know, we are talking about children, and between children the rivalry is an instinctive fact, of the gut. In short, there was no immediate sympathy. Then we had a tournament in Portugal, they put us in the room together and there it all started. We are alike in many ways, including the fact that he is a bit touchy: like me, he suffers from the joke. Sometimes we didn't talk to each other all day. And you can't touch his hair: he cares a lot. But he is kind, available, he gives you a lot ”.
