AC Milan are keen to strengthen their attack by finding a good alternative for Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the coming transfer market window.
According to what is reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's edition, Milan's top priority in the market remains, as always, Olivier Giroud from Chelsea who has 1 year left in his contract. The leaders of the Rossoneri have an agreement with the Frenchman already for 4 million euros per season and a contract duration of 2 years with an option for a third year.
However, for the deal to go through, Chelsea will have to free their experienced centre forward. In this regard, there would still be optimism regarding the success of the operation.
Nonetheless, the source says that Milan still thinks of alternatives to Giroud and they are back to evaluating Luka Jovic. But, a deal could happen if Real Madrid are willing to let him go on loan.
