Mikkel Damsgaard, Danish talent of Sampdoria, aged 20, is attracting many possible suitors, including AC Milan. He is a technically gifted left-winger.
According to what has been revealed in today's edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri managers are interested on the player. However, it will be a hard deal to make in order to see the 20-year-old wearing the red and black shirt.
Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, despite being fans of the player's abilities, do not want to offer a high transfer fee to Sampdoria to sign Damsgaard. There is no will to participate into auctions.
The player has a contract that is valid until June 2024. In order to convince Sampdoria to let him go, the plan is to include Andrea Conti in the operation. This scenario could occur if Roberto D'Aversa (old coach of Conti) were to become the new Sampdoria coach.
