There are many candidates that AC Milan could choose from in order to bolster the attacking midfield area of the team.
As reported by Tuttosport, among the several profiles that are linked with a move to the San Siro, Dusan Tadic is also an option.
The Serbian striker has experience and he is no longer young, he is 32 years old. Elliott would prefer a younger profile, but Tadic's quality and physical health is not in question which convinces Paolo Maldini and Massara.
In fact, contacts are well underway now. Tadic has 2 years left in his contract with Ajax. He earns a salary of 2 million euros per season plus bonuses.
However, the Serbian attacker, capable of playing on the wing and as attacking midfielder, is not the only profile that Milan managers like.
There is Mikkel Damsgaard of Sampdoria, 20 years old who is highly valued by his club (we talk of a 30 million euros valuation, according to multiple reports)
Then, Marcel Sabitzer of RB Leipzig whose contract expires next year and seems unlikely to renew.
24-year-old midfielder Dani Ceballos who returned back to Real Madrid from a lacklustre loan spell at Arsenal in the Premier League is also on the radar.
Mattia Zaccagni is also on the list, attacking midfielder of Hellas Verona. But the chances of seeing him wear the Rossoneri shirt are decreasing.
James Rodriguez is reportedly in Milan's notebook, although the newspaper points out that there are no confirmations from the close entourage to the Rossoneri club.
But, at the top of the list, there is Hakim Ziyech of Chelsea. The Morocco international is very much liked by Maldini and Massara. Chelsea, though, are not open to letting the player leave on loan. So, new attempts could be launched at the end of the transfer market window, concludes the report.
