Olivier Giroud will soon be a new Milan player. This was reported by today's edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, yesterday there was a telephone conversation between the parties, who are very close to the agreement.
In the next few hours, however, the leaders of Il Diavolo will try to definitively close this transfer operation. The player, who will enjoy two weeks of vacation, should land in Milan, to undergo the usual medical examinations and to sign the new contract, tomorrow or Thursday.
In this regard, a lot will depend on the Rossoneri management and Chelsea, who should soon reach the final agreement. The chiefs at Casa Milan have in fact awarded the Blues a compensation fee of 2 million euros.
