For AC Milan to sign a quality attacking midfielder, there are quite a few names that are being evaluated, as reported by multiple sources in the last few weeks.
The latest name that gained more attention in the last few days is Nikola Vlasic, Croatian attacking midfielder of Russian club CSKA Moscow.
Milan management likes that Vlasic can play more than one role, the 23-year-old can be a second striker as well as a winger. But, he offers his best qualities as a playmaker.
According to what has been reported by Calciomercato.com, Vlasic has a release clause worth 35 million euros in his contract which is running until 2024. However, the Russian club management could settle for a slightly lower figure.
Contacts are ongoing to strike an agreement, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are working to make a deal on the basis of a loan with an option to buy. The negotiations have just started and an agreement could be reached.
