AC Milan's president Paolo Scaroni granted an interview to Bloomberg TV and he was asked about the Super League.
The club's president said the following words about the topic:
"Major European clubs are losing money, and that is the problem. But, despite that, they continue to invest more money for new players to keep its sporting top performances."
"The Super League is a project to invent a new identity", adds Scaroni, "possibly together with UEFA, to solve the problem we are experiencing. The clubs do not want to leave UEFA. We cannot continue to lose money, and with Covid the situation has worsened."
"We must find a way to restore the economic health of the European clubs", concluded the Rossoneri club president.
