Hakan Calhanoglu chose to join city rivals Inter instead of extending his contract at AC Milan. He left as a free agent to the black and blue side of the city of Milano.
Today, the Turkish playmaker broke the silence over his career choice and said the following to DAZN:
"The noise is made by the fans, it's normal. For a player like this it's normal. But I'm not the first nor the last. Many players have passed from Milan to Inter and vice versa. I have done many things for Milan in 4 years, I have respected everyone. Those who know me knew everything. But I have a new adventure at Inter and I look forward to that."
If Ibrahimovic told Calhanoglu anything:
"I was playing in the Euros cup and he was on vacation. he had his knee problem and was thinking about that while I was playing in the European championship. We have not talked about this transfer for now, but we will talk about it a few days."
On coach Stefano Pioli:"
"Pioli was the only one at AC Milan who wanted me strongly. I talked to him many times, but he respected my decision and wished me well."
