In this transfer window, AC Milan are working on reinforcing the squad by bringing in new faces. But that's not the whole plan, the idea is to thin out the squad and let some players go in order to cut costs and gain some much needed cash.
According to what has been revealed by the daily Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, three players are set to leave the club soon: Andrea Conti, Tommaso Pobega, and Mattia Caldara.
These three Italian players have all returned to Milanello recently after their loan spells at other clubs (Parma, Spezia, and Atalanta respectively).
They will not be remaining for too long within the squad of Stefano Pioli.
In the meantime, they are taking part of the training sessions and might participate in some friendly games, but it seems that their future has been decided and it is far away from the San Siro.
