AC Milan are still planning to make more market moves in this transfer window in order to improve the squad and add more quality to it.

As reported by Carlo Pellegatti for Calciomercato.com, AC Milan's goals are to sign an alternative right-back to Davide Calabria, a midfielder, a right-winger, a playmaker and another centre-forward after Olivier Giroud.

Speaking of midfielders, though, Tommaso Pobega's chances of staying at Milan are seeing an increase. In the friendly games, he showed his skills and talents that made him shine with Spezia in Serie A last season. He has a good physicality level, good positioning while making important runs.

What surprises the most, writes the source, is that he adapted quite quickly and well to the 2-man midfield of AC Milan that coach Pioli likes to operate in his usual 4-2-3-1 formation. Pobega showed precision in passing, good vision and a strong mental presence. For this reason, AC Milan managers, in agreement with the coaching staff at Milanello, could agree to let Pobega leave on loan, but not on a permanent basis.

Then, another midfielder is taking up a lot of thoughts at Casa Milan: Franck Kessié. The negotiations are difficult with the Ivorian's agent  George Atangana who asked at first for a salary of 5.5 million euros but now he is requesting 6 million euros per season with some rumours, writes the journalist, that the request has reached 7 million euros already now.  It is easy to argue who is spreading these rumors, to which Milan does not reply in order not to raise more black smoke around the negotiation. Nothing should happen in the next few days, because Kessié is in Japan, busy with the national team in the Tokyo Olympics.

In any case, the face to face meeting with Maldini and Massara will be fundamental for the contract extension talks of the number 79. Milan does not plan to lose its star player. A financial sacrifice is needed in order to keep one of the best midfielders in the Serie A and even in the world currently. We should not be expecting any major updates in the next few days, points out the source, but there should be news during August month.
